Billings Models 1/80 Le Martegaou Wooden Ship Kit

The1/80 Billings Le Martegaou Woodenwooden ship model is an accurate recreation of the real life flat-bottomed boat from Provence. Vessels of this type were commonly used along the Rhone River for transporting building timber, tiles from Arles and fodder. The runs were eventually extended to include the southern coasts of France. The boats disappeared, however, as railway transport became widespread.This kit features plank on frame construction, laser cut plywood keel and frame components, wooden superstructure and decks, hull and deck fittings in brass and/or plastic. It includes full-size plan sheets and an instruction manual with English text. This wooden boat kit is ideal for the beginner.
