Billings Models 1/50 Henriette Marie Wooden Ship Model

The1/50 BillingsHenriette-Marie is the first pilot cutter known from Le Havre. Built in 1847, it was piloted until 1890. The Henriette-Marie was a fast and very manoeuvrable boat, its crew consisted of 2 men and a ships boy. The pilot cutters were nicknamed the Swallows of the Channel because of their liveliness and their black hulls with white flags. This kit features plank on frame construction, laser cut plywood keel and frame components, wooden superstructure and decks, hull and deck fittings in brass and/or plastic. It includes full-size plan sheets and an instruction manual with English text. This wooden boat kit is ideal for the beginner.
